Brooklyn New York wants to retire to Florida to escape the harsh New York winters that only inflame his arthritis and of course
swim in his pool with his lovelies (as long as his wife doesn’t catch him) but before he does, he wants some payback
from his underboss (Angélo Panettorio) for fixing a hit on him and to prove to everyone that he’s no Mustache
Pete. When the don sends his best hitman, Benedetto a.k.a Benny Duece, the "Troubleshooter” (known for putting
a big dent in the Brooklyn census) to motivate Angelo’s gun-toting grandmother, Serafina Panettorio, to say where Angelo
is, Benny finds that she’s more than he expected. When the don hears that Benny fails to motivate her to disclose his
location and has disappeared with her grandson, he sends him to find the monastery, Penitential Brothers Of Saint Peccato,
in Punkinville, Wisconsin, where Angelo has fled and finish the job. Along the way, Benny, unable to find his way there because
he reads at the second grade level, teams with Raphael, a black janitor and “Five-minute” minister and his skinny
tomcat , Jonah. Losing faith that Benny will succeed, the don (dressed as a priest) and his consigliere Alessandro Z. Savio
a.k.a. Iron Al (dressed as bunny) travel to Punkinville to settle matters and find themselves in a battle for the bagel business
run out of the monastery. To make things worse, the Chicago family is sending their own goombah to run the don out of the
bagel business, which is cutting in on their action.
