Films & Publishing LLC is a film & publishing company located in the Midwest. YF&P was established in 1997 when
we produced a short film entitled, “Manimals.” Since then, we have produced an Independent Feature Film titled,
“Love Wine.”
In 2004 we began the publishing segment of our business with our “Read a Movie”
book series. On our web site, you’ll find information on our past films and current books in production. You’ll
also find out how to purchase our books, as well as how to submit screenplays for consideration in our unique book series.
Young Films &
Publishing LLC is a family run film company located in the Midwest. Jack Young is the Manager of Young Films & Publishing
LLC and the Chief Managing Editor of the “Read a Movie” Book Series publication. He approves the
overall design, format, length, and content of the books, appoints staff, and manages the book series completion schedules.
A screenwriter for over 12 years, he has written over 30 screenplays, and was coordinator of the Nebraskans For Film
group, a Nebraska screenwriting group, for over 6 years. He wrote, executive produced, and produced a short film (Manimals)
in 1997, then wrote and executive produced an independent feature film titled, Love Wine. He has also appeared in
